W S Gan is the Company's
Founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Scientist. He is in charge of
finance and R and D. He obtained his BSc in physics in 1965, DIC in
acoustics and vibration science in May 1967 and PhD in acoustics in
Feb 1969, all from Imperial College London. He is also a Fellow of
the Institution of Electrical Engineers, UK, the Institute of
Acoustics, UK ,and the Southern African Acoustics Institute ,and a
Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers, USA and the Member of the Acoustical Society of America.
He completed his PhD in 10 months compared with the usual 3 to 5
years. His draft of PhD thesis was checked through by the then visiting
Professor Raymond Orbach of UCLA who was appointed by President Bush
as US Secretary of Energy in 2002. He is a theorist. He did very
advanced, higher than PhD works at the world famous International
Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy founded by Abdus
Salam the late Nobel Laureate in physics. He is listed in the
Marquis Who's Who in the World since 1983 for several times , the
International Dictionary of Biography and Who's Who in Malaysia and
Singapore. He is one of the pioneers of high
technologies especially ultrasound technologies in Singapore since
the early 1980's. He wrote the first paper on the application of
acoustical holography to noise source identification in 1974, the
first paper on the application of chaotic theory to acoustical
imaging in 1990, the first paper on the application of negative
refraction to acoustical imaging in 2005, and the first paper on the
application of gauge invariance/symmetries to
acoustic fields in 2007. |

David Kim Hock Teh is the Director and
General Manager of the company. He is in charge of general
administration and marketing of the company. He obtained his B A in
economics from the University of California in 1980, and MBA from

Cheong Kiat Gan is the Director
and management and training consultant with the company. He is also
in charge of international marketing. He obtained his BSc in
Information Technology from University of Queensland in 1997,MSc in
Software, Systems and Information Engineering from University of
Sheffield in 2001 ,MSc in Computer and Information Sciences from
University of Minnesota in 2004 and MSc in Management of Technology
from University of Minnesota in 2005. He was a Research Engineer
with and Founder of eLinux in Singapore and was involved in writing
some parallel processing programs for image processing applications
over high performance parallel cluster computers. While pursuing his
Master of Science in Software, Systems and Information Engineering
from University of Sheffield, UK, he implemented an intelligent
performance monitoring and tuning tool for Beowulf clusters using
fuzzy logic control with genetic optimization. Both genetic
algorithm and fuzzy logic rules were used to monitor and change the
work load of high performance parallel cluster computers at
run-time. While pursuing his Master of Computer and Information
Sciences at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, USA, he worked
as a Research Assistant on data scheduling algorithms exploring
various options of caching at the client or server site for the
virtual data grid(VDG). While pursuing his Master of Science in
Management of Technology at the University of Minnesota, Twin
Cities, his capstone project titled "Metaphors as a Managerial
Vehicle for New Product Development (NPD): Evidence from Honda's
Humanoid Robot, Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility(ASIMO)" was
used as teaching material for Professor Kelvin Willoughby's NPD
class from the Center for the Development of Technology Leadership. |

Haidong Liang is a Director of
the company based in UK. He is in charge of the R and D operation in
the UK. He obtained his B M from Shanghai University in 1992, and
the PhD from University of Surrey, UK in 1999. He has considerable R
and D experience in ultrasound technologies. From 1999-2001 he was a
Research Assistant with the Centre for Physical and Engineering
Research in Medicine, University of Bristol where he developed a
multi-dimensional acoustical microscope for use in biomedical
imaging. From 2001-2003 he was a Research Associate and Animal
Ultrasound Facility Manager
at the Imaging Sciences Dept, Imperial College London where among
other achievements, he developed a novel ultrasound-medicated gene
therapy method to optimise the DNA uptake by cells. From 2003 to
date he has been Head of New Technologies, Dept of Medical and
Bioengineering, United Bristol Healthcare Trust, where he has
carried out R and D of medical ultrasound including ultrasound micro
scanning, molecular imaging and
ultrasound-medicated gene therapy. His duty is to help the company
develop a biomedical SAM since he already has previous experience in
this field. |
